Im not really sure how to describe the sounds i'm hearing, but ill do my
best. If i hold down the clutch pedal while the car is rolling and shift
through the gears in any order, i hear, somewhat loud, metal
popping/clanking noises, and i can also feel it in the shifter. If i do the
same while the car is sitting still, i wont hear anything and the shifts are
smooth. The only thing that drives me to think of the drive shaft is that it
only happens while the car is in motion. My rear dif bushings where completely shot and i replaced them aprox. 3
weeks ago... but up until then it sounded like the back end was going to
fall out with every shift. I'm wondering if that may have damaged/
loosened something on the driveshaft.
